June 5, 2026 | Monthly Update, Senior Care
Hello everyone! Here is an update of some if the things that we did together in Legacy Place in May.
From puzzles that challenge the mind to folding activities that nurture familiarity and purpose, every moment is an opportunity to stay engaged, active, and connected.
These meaningful activities help support cognitive well-being, encourage independence, and create moments of joy throughout the day. Shoutout to our activities staff who take the time and effort to plan and implement these activities.
A little friendly competition, a lot of laughter, and moments that bring everyone together ✨
Games like cornhole do more than entertain — they help seniors stay active, improve hand-eye coordination, encourage gentle movement, and create opportunities for social connection and joy.
Because sometimes, the simplest games create the warmest memories 💛
It was messy but we couldn’t care less!! We had a great time trying our hand at charcoal painting.
Trying new things is excellent for older adults.
🧠It promotes neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to adapt and grow), lowers the risk of cognitive decline,
🥰 and significantly boosts mood and purpose.
We really appreciate your invaluable support and we are deeply grateful for your participation in the ongoing fundraiser.
We will put the details of the fundraiser here so you can have a look and share it with anybody who might want to participate.
