April 11, 2024 | Monthly Update, Senior Care
What an exciting month it has been – preparing our hearts for the Memorial, taking active part in the campaign, and observing the Memorial of Jesus’ death. We hope you had a good month too!
Memorial 2024 in Legacy Place. We had 45 in attendance and we love how they dressed in their best for this very special day.

We had an insightful seminar on Patient Blood Management by Warren Behr, Director of Patient Blood Management at Lehigh Valley Health Network. He delivers public education regarding bloodless medicine and surgery to communities and was able to provide our residents with excellent insight that would help them make informed decisions regarding their stand on blood fractions and other medical procedures. We are constantly encouraged by the strong faith of these elderly ones. They are determined to stand firm in their stand to obey Jehovah’s law regarding blood. It was also encouraging to see that the medical community is seeing the benefits of bloodless procedures.
Residents in our personal care household are encouraged to maintain as much independence as is suitable to his/her needs. We can provide assistance with medications and daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, eating, dressing, and toileting. Outside agencies like skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy can come to the community on an as-needed basis. We also offer nutritious meals, programmed activities, and housekeeping.
We have a rich activities program that offers a variety of spiritual activities, games, exercise, visiting performers, and day trips to places of interest around the Lehigh Valley.
