Residents in our personal care household are encouraged to maintain as much independence as is suitable to his/her needs. We can provide assistance with medications and daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, eating, dressing, and toileting. Outside agencies like skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy can come to the community on an as-needed basis. We also offer nutritious meals, programmed activities, and housekeeping.

We have a rich activities program that offers a variety of spiritual activities, games, exercise, visiting performers, and day trips to places of interest around the Lehigh Valley.

What Is Included in Memory Care in Legacy Place?

Residents living in Memory Care also receive assistance with medications and daily living activities, but within a smaller setting and with accommodations to meet their current needs. Routines are very important for those dealing with dementia. We keep this in mind when developing a care plan for each resident.

The activity program in Memory Care is designed to keep our residents engaged with suitable activities. As in Personal Care, spiritual activities, along with games, exercise, musical performances, and outings round out our Memory Care activity program.
