Caring for the elderly is a noble task. To ensure all can enjoy a safe and protected environment, the state of Pennsylvania has set forward a set of regulations that must be met by every care home.
We thought it would be a good idea to show you what these regulations are and how we ensure they are implemented at Legacy Place.

This painting class was a major hit with our residents. Painting helps use both sides of our brain simultaneously. This helps creativity and increases cognitive function. Some studies suggest that creative activities slow down the development of memory disorders and conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The painting process also creates an opportunity for seniors to express themselves in ways that they are not able to through communication.
Our Donate a Cuddle campaign was a hit! Thank you dear friends for bringing in these wonderful pet companions. As you can see, they have done a world of good.
Please contact our activities director Sabra if you can bring in your pet to spend some time with our residents. Her e-mail id is or you can call her on 484-860-3909

It’s a boy! It’s a girl! And so many at that. Our chicks have hatched 🐣🐣
Stay tuned for more next month!
