November Update – Appreciation, Puzzles, and Safe Spaces

December 22, 2025 | Monthly Update

We hope you have had a great November. Here are some highlights:

Staff Appreciation Week

A big shoutout to our staff- for all their love and care and for going above and beyond for our elderly ones. Here are some pictures from our staff appreciation week.

The Puzzle Masters are at Work Again

It’s been interesting to watch how they work as a team to get all the pieces together.

Studies show that personal projects are beneficial for seniors as they provide purpose, boost mental & physical health, enhance cognitive function, increase self-esteem, and combat loneliness by creating social connections.
Elderly ones have plenty of opportunity to do just that as they team up on different activities in Legacy Place.

The Need for Comfortable and Safe Living Spaces in the Home

Our elderly brothers and sisters are truly treasures! It is an immense honor to care for them, and thanks to your help, Legacy Place has been able to do this.
Your donations are invaluable, and as we ask you to support our fundraising campaign, we wanted to explain the importance of this ask.

Please have a read of our blog that explains the need for comfortable and safe living spaces in the home: https://www.legacyplace.org/senior-care/the-value-of-designing-safe-and-aesthetically-pleasing-homes-for-the-elderly/

Fundraiser Update

Since we weren’t able to meet our goal for the fundraiser, we have decided to extend the campaign until we are able to purchase the replacement furniture.

We really appreciate your invaluable support and we are deeply grateful for your participation in this fundraiser.

We will put the details of the fundraiser here so you can have a look and share it with anybody who might want to participate.
