January 8, 2025 | Monthly Update, Senior Care
We had a fun time in December. Here’s a look at everything we’ve been up to.
We had a little bit of violin trivia with our lunch.
Some more Thank you cards getting ready for our donors from the Giving Tuesday campaign. 🙂 If you haven’t got yours yet, it will be on the way soon!
Despite their age and limitations these dear older ones know that their lifeblood is their spiritual routine. Digging deeper into Bible truths together during family worship energizes them and keeps them strong. Here’s a look at how they maintain their spiritual routine: https://www.legacyplace.org/general/maintaining-a-spiritual-routine-despite-age/
Our residents love these activities that are arranged for them. It helps them feel involved and useful. It gives them a creative outlet too and helps with their mental health. Arranging activities like these are only possible because of donations from all you wonderful friends. Thank you very much for that!
What a treasure these wonderful older ones are. Their zeal in the ministry is infectious and it’s faith strengthening to see them encourage each other and us. We feel privileged to continue providing them a safe, warm and building environment in their old age.
