April Monthly Update at Legacy Place Senior Assisted Living

What a great time we’ve had this April! Hope you have too. Here are some Highlights.

Pet Therapy

At Legacy Place, our residents love spending time with animals, as you can see.
Have you read our article on how these loyal furry companions can make life both better and truly wonderful? We also include tips on how you can make pet therapy part of your routine without having pets!

3 against 3000!

Well that’s what it looked like as our residents Doug, Nina and Paul took on this massive challenge of completing a 3000 piece puzzle. The rest of the residents joined in and after months of working on it we’re happy to report – mission accomplished! Well done everyone.

Constructing in Spirit

Tara, a resident’s granddaughter has been traveling to Grenada, West Indies to assist with building kingdom halls. She put together a photo and video presentation and shared many of her adventures with the Personal Care and Memory Care residents. We had a large group of residents and visitors in attendance. Everyone enjoyed hearing her encouraging (and funny) stories and experiences.
It was amazing to see how interested these dear faithful ones are about the work that is being done in the organization. Many might have thought back fondly about the projects that they used to be part of and the congregations that they helped build. They might not have the strength to do it today but their prayers are with all these willing volunteers like Tara.

More pictures to come so stay tuned!!
