April Update – Memorial, Special Talk, Volunteers and more

What a special month this was for us! The Memorial and special talk were the highlights of course and we had some great fun with other activities too. Here are some memories.

As we watch the Special Talk together, we look around at these dear friends who have found hope and have endured many trials keeping their eyes fixed on that hope. This talk gave us an opportunity to meditate on the wondrous future in store for all of us. We hope you enjoyed the special talk too.

 

Making Memorial Bread

Learn how to make Memorial bread from the pros who have been doing it for decades 😊
1) Pay close attention to the instructions from the video on JW broadcasting.
2) Ingredients set, gloves on, ready
3) Knead, roll, perforate
4) In the oven …. And we’re done 😊 We had such a wonderful time preparing the bread, listening to kingdom songs, recollecting the many memorials in the past, and meditating about the wonderful future ahead.

Family Worship

We thoroughly enjoyed Family Worship conducted by a loving volunteer. This is where our dear volunteers help immensely. The residents truly appreciate the time and resources that they spend for them and the volunteers benefit from invaluable association with faithful elderly ones.
